the Gathering Place

The Gathering Place is a meeting room inside the City Market building in downtown Winston-Salem, NC.  It is at the intersection of 6th Street and Cherry Street. The City Market is located on one corner, the Benton Convention Center on another, and there are two parking areas on the remaining two corners of the intersection. One is a parking deck and is a good choice for parking. The cost is 75 cents an hour or a maximum of $6.00 day. From Interstate 40: get onto 52N. Use the 3^rd-4^th-5^th streets exit. Turn onto 5^th Street towards town (west).

 

Turn right onto N Cherry St. Go one block and turn right onto W 6^th street.

Turn right into the 6^th and Cherry St Parking Deck.

 

City Market Building is across 6th street. The Gathering Place is upstairs. From the 6^th street entrance, walk left. The WSFCS Social Work Office is in suite 300. The Gathering Place is down the hall, in the middle of building.
