Instructions: People who have full member status for 2010 may vote using the form below. If you would like to join the organization please select "Membership Registration" at the bottom of this page. For each office select the circle beside your choice. You can vote for the individual(s) listed or type in another NCABA member's name. Before typing in a candidate, please verify that the person will serve if elected. Place your name and email address in the spaces provided for NCABA membership verification and click the submit button at the bottom of the page. Ballots must be submitted online by February 15, 2009. Ballots will be accepted at the conference registration booth until 6:00pm February 18, 2010.



Vice President

Jim Phillips received his doctorate in Psychology from West Virginia University in 1984. He has been Director of Psychology Services at Murdoch Developmental Center since 1992. Prior to that Jim was a Staff Psychologist and later Senior Psychologist at J. Iverson Riddle Center beginning in 1983. Jim has been active as an NCABA officer several times. He assisted Rod Realon, Carolyn Green and Vickie Canipe in getting NCABA started in 1990. Since then he has served as President (1990 – 91, 1999 – 2000) and as Member-at Large (1993 – 94, 1995 – 97). Jim has also received the Fred Keller award.

Secretary

Beth Schmitt is the current Secretary (formerly in conjunction with the Treasurer position) for NCABA serving her second two year term. She has worked for the State of NC for the past nine years as a Staff Psychologist first at the Caswell Developmental Center and currently at the Murdoch Developmental Center. She is a graduate of Meredith College and received her advanced degree from East Carolina University under the direction of Dr. Jeannie Golden. She has worked in the field of behavior analysis since 1994 and her interests include behavioral research and developments in the areas of Autism and Developmental Disabilities.

Member-At-Large

Calandra "Callie" Plattner is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Psychological Associate, with accreditations obtained in November 2008 and March 2009, respectively. Callie obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Elon University in 2006. She then went on to complete her Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with a concentration in Developmental Disabilities from Auburn University in 2007. Post-graduate, she returned to North Carolina and has worked as the Staff Psychologist for the PATH (Partners in Autism Treatment and Habilitation) program at Murdoch Developmental Center. Callie then joined the Creative Consultants Inc. team in 2009 and currently provides oversight of behavior programming as well as supervises the Board Certified Associate Behavior Analysts. Overall, she has worked in multiple settings to include school consultation, in-home 1:1 therapy, group homes, workshop training for staff and parents and has presented research at ABAI. Callie remains an active member of ABAI and NCABA.

Bryan Crisp is a BCBA and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He has over 12 years of experience instructing college students and working with families to design and implement effective behavioral interventions. Mr. Crisp utilizes behavioral interventions to address diverse problems within the context of individual, couples and family therapy to working with schools to design special education environments. He operates a private practice in Greenville NC and instructs courses at East Carolina University.
