CE Instructions

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ATTENDING SESSIONS

Record the code words shared in each of the sessions you attend throughout the conference. Words will be shared at the start of each session by the person introducing the speaker and will also be available at the room entry door for the first 10 min of the session. The closing word will be provided at the conclusion of the presentation by the person who provided the introduction.

A printed code word recording sheet is available for your convenience at the registration booth if you prefer a hard copy. You may also click here to download a fillable PDF form so your code words can be recorded electronically and saved on your device throughout the event.  If code words are lost, regardless of the format you select, the words can’t be retrieved by NCABA, so use caution in retaining your code words in a safe accessible location. It is recommended that you retain your code words until you have received all of the CE Certificate types you are seeking by email.

Following your last session of the entire conference event, you will use the code words you have recorded to complete the Conference Evaluation and CE Form at www.nc-aba.com/welcome/. This form must be accurately completed to receive BACB CEs, NCPA CEs and/or a General Letter indicating hours attended. Note that if you do not receive the code words at the times described above, then you did not attend enough of the session to ethically receive credit. Please do not ask your fellow attendees for code words or share them with your fellow attendees. If you do so, NCABA will lose the ability to offer CEs in the future.

CE credit can only be given to attendees who are present within the first 10 minutes and remain throughout the entire session; however, access to the session is still available for the knowledge that can be gained. No partial credit can be given. If you have difficulty with completion of the CE form, please come to the registration booth or email help@nc-aba.com. The help desk will not be able to tell you the correct code words, so if you lose these there will be no way to retrieve them.
